I’ve taken the shop down for a bit to re-jig it. It will be back soon, and I might have other exciting shop news soon too.

It’s been quiet ’round here lately. Too quiet…

Gets good at around 1:36:30!

Two remarkable performances – one by a brilliant mountain biker, the other by the most partisan commentary team since that  man shouted GOOAALLL for 43 seconds.  At one point he gets so excited his chair goes through the portacabin floor (the commentator, not Steve Peat).  Brilliant.

A numpty psychologist recently claimed that bicycles have killed more people in London in the last 10 years than terrorism, and this got picked up by the media.

Lots of cyclists are, of course, outraged of Tunbridge Wells as a result.

But I think there might be something in it…  are Al-Quaeda perhaps behind the fiendish Cycle-to-Work scheme?

On Sunday we crawled out the primordial soup for a few hours and set up a trade stand at Glasgow’s Skyride event. Our stall was next door to our pals at Billy Bilsland Cycles, who got us a bacon roll and fought off looters while we went for coffee. Cheers guys!

And thanks to all the punters who bought things – say hello if you come by!

It was a good day despite the pissing rain – maybe the chain man-kinis will need to wait til next summer. Chris Hoy was there, but he didn’t come by our stall. He did, however, cycle 200m on a fancy exercise bike in 9.3 seconds or something ridiculous. Best glesga punter managed 11.sumthing – nae bad.

Made a decision to do another stall at Pedal for Scotland in September, and other plans are afoot – watch this space …

It’s been weeks since my last post. Must try harder. Quite a lot’s happened, but none of it seems important enough now to inform no-one about (since that’s how many people read this).

In brief: work’s been getting in the way a bit in the last few weeks but I’ve had a couple of new ideas about how things are going to develop… Watch this space, me!
